The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 8 .30 o' clock E.M. PRESENT : Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd., Collins and Shafer Town Clerk Sherman Upon a motion duly :wade by Justice Shafer seconded by Justice Collins, it wa.e voted to dispense with the reading of the minutes not yet approved. Supervisor Burton stated that the first order of business was the reading of the notice of sale of Town Park District No. 1 Bonds of the Town of Mamaroneck, New work, in the sum of $148,000 .00 ; and the Clerk hav- ing read same it was upon motion duly -made and seconded RESOLVED, that the notice of sale be and the same hereby is approved. Upon motion duly made by Justice Collins second- ed by Justice Boyd, it was RESOLVED, that the bids received par® suant to said notice be now opened. The Clerk proceeded to open and read each of the bids received, each of which was accompanied with either a certified or cashieres check in the required amount and the same were as follows : Harris Forbes Company, $103.419 and accrued interest. Trust Company of Larchmont, ? 104 .59. A. M. Lamp•ort & Company, y'154, 169.00 and accrued interest, :tatter & Company, $ 104.146 and accrued interest , H. L. Allen & Company, $104.179 and accrued interest. Larchmont National Bank and Trust Com- pany, $104.829 and accrued interest. Batchelder, 'Pack & Company, $104.293 and accrued interest . Farson, Son & 8o $103.177 and accrued. interest . Sherwood & Merrifield, $104.44 and accrued interest. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was PESOLVED, that the Board go into executive session to tabulate and consider the bids received, The Board reconvened at 9,20 P.M. Supervisor Burton stated that the Board had tabulated and considered all bids received and was ready to make the award.. Thereupon, upon motion made by Justice Collins seconded by Justice Shafer, it was RESOLVED, that Larchmont National Tank and Trust Company having bid $104 .329 amounting to the sum of $155, 146.92 and accrued interest to date of delivery for the $143, 000. par value Town Park District No . 1 Bonds of the Town of Mamaroneck, New York, pursuant to a resolution of this Board adopted on January 21, 1925, and to the notice of sale made and published according to law, said bid being; thehighest and best bid received for said bond comply- ing with the terms and conditions of said notice of sale, said bonds are hereby awarded to said Larch- mont National Bank and Trust Company whose bid is hereby accepted; and be it farther RESOLVED, that the Supervisor and Town Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said bonds, and upon their execut- ion the Supervisor is directed to deliver the same upon receipt of the amount bid therefor plus accrued in- terest to the date of delivery; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be directed to return to the unsuccess- ful bidders their respective checks upon delivery of the proper vouchers thereof. A communication from the Sewer Commissioners was received and read, stating that they have a petition before them signed by property owners in Howell Park, requesting sewers in Meadow Place and Caerleon Avenue, and further stating that the Board of Sewer Commissioners are agree- able to giving this service if the streets are accepted by the Town as a Town Highway. �1J After due consideration the following resolution was presented and upon the question being taken, was unanimously adopted; WHEREAS, an application has been received requesting the Town to take over and accept as Public Highways of the Town, Meadow Place from Howell Avenue to Caerleon Avenue and a certain portion of Caerleon Avenue, which applicat- ion has been approved by the Sever Commission of Sever Dis- trict No. 1, _ HOW, THERES'ORE, be it RESOLVED, that the aforesaid appli - cation be and the same hereby is referred to the Superintendent of Highways and Counsel to investigate and report back to the Board their recommendations as to the action to be taken thereon.
