MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF
MAMARONECK, HELD ON THE 19TH DAY
OF JANUARY 1985.
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Supervisor Battalia.
• Councilman Bloom moved and Councilman Amlicke seconded a motion
to adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel, proposed
litigation, and contracts.
Councilwoman Silverstone moved, Councilman Bloom seconded and the
Council unanimously voted to authorize Counsel Silverberg to
commence an Article 78 against the Westchester County personnel
director beginning Wednesday, January 23, in the morning.
Discussion of appointment of police commissioner: it was decided
to make the appointment at the regular January 23rd Council
meeting and to follow the appointment with the swearing in.
Steve Silverberg instructed the Council concerning the proper
procedures regarding the D.E.I.S. for the proposed County takeover
of the Joint Sanitation Facility.
Larry Lerman moved and Tom Amlicke seconded adjournment of the
executive session.
Councilman Amlicke moved and Councilman Lerman seconded adjournment
of the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
