Present- Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd and Collins Town Clerk Sherman The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton, The Supervisor stated that the Special Meeting had been called to -receive and open bids in connection with the sale of $100,000 Sewer District Bonds . On motion duly seconded, it eras- RESOLVED that the All of the meeting be approved. - The Supervisor asked if there was any one who had not submitted his bid. — On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED that the bids received for the sale of $100,000 Sewer District Bonds, Series D, of Sewer District No. 1 of the Town of Yama.roneck, pur- suant to Notice of Sale thereof, dated December 26,1924, be now opened. The Clerk proceeded to open and read each of the several bids received, all of which were on the official form of proposal furnished by the Town, and accompanied by cer- tified or chasierrs checks in the required amount , and which were as follows :- Sherwood & Merrifield Inc. . . . . $ 100,340. Geo. B. Gibbons & Co ... . . . . 100,176. Trust Company of Larchmont. ... 100,160. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED that the Board go into execu- tive session to tabulate and consider the bids received. The Board then reconvened. The Supervisor stated that the Board had consid- ered all bids that had been received, and was ready to make the award. The following resolution was offered by Justice Collins and seconded by Justice Boyd: RESOLVED that the bid of Sherwood & Merrifield Inc . of New York City, hav- ing bid the sum of $'100040.00. fcr 1100,000.00 par value Sewer District Bonds of Sewer District No. 1 of the Town of Mamaroneck, and accrued interest at the rate borne by the bonds fron. the date thereof to the date of payment of the purchase price, pursuant to the resolution of this Board and to the Not- ice of Sale made in accordance with laws, and the said bid being; the highest and best bid received for said bonds , ands complying with the terms and conditions of said Notice of Sale, the said bonds are hereby awarded to the said Sherwood & Merrifield Inc. of New York City, and the aforesaid bid is hereby accepted, and the Supervisor is directed to deliv® er the on se and price therefor. The resolution was put to a vote, and was adopted as follows Ayes - Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd and Collins Town Clerk Sherman Hayes - None The Supervisor thereupon declared the resolution adopted. Upon motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED that the Counsel be, and he hereby is authorized and emp6wered and directed to take any and all steps which may be necessary in the premises to consummate the sale of the aforesaid $100,000.00. Sewer District Bonds . A communication and petition was received from the Board of Suter Commissioners signed by the tan papers and property owners of the so-called Section D which includes the lower end of Weaver Street and the Boston Bost Road, requesting and petitioning for the extension of the present seater district so as to include the aforementioned territory. Upon motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED that the communication and petition be referred to Counsel who is hereby authorized and requested to prepare the proper papers and resolu- tions for farther action of this Board. A communication from the Trust Company of Larchmont was received, requesting the naming of said Bank as one of the depositories for Town funds. After due consideration the following resolution was presented by Justice Boyd and seconded by Justice Collins ; RESOLVED that the Trust Company of Larchmont be and hereby is desig- nated as a depository of the Town funds, and be it further "'+S.l OLI D that said Trust Company be ♦u requested and required to file with the Town Clerk a depository bond in the sum of Q25t000.0O. Upon a vote being taken upon the foregoing reso- lution, the sane was declared unanimously adopted. Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 10.30 P.M. 7 a..�- TO w Clerk®
