MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON THE 1ST DAY OF AUGUST 1984 IN THE SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE OF THE TOWN CENTER, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Supervisor Battalia. Present were the following: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia • Councilman Lee H. Bloom Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilman Lawrence A. Lerman Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke was absent due to illness. Also present: Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator The Town Administrator presented to the Board two salary authorizations to hire personnel in the Comptroller's Office and Recreation Department. It was explained that the person to be hired in the Comptroller's Office will replace an employee recently terminated. In the case of the Recreation Department, the request is to hire an alternate lifeguard/key attendant. On motion by Councilwoman Silverstone and seconded by Councilman Bloom it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Administrator is hereby authorized to hire Gail Sheehy as a Bookkeeping Machine Operator on a provisional basis at an annual salary of $14,780. On motion by Councilwoman Silverstone and seconded by Councilman Lerman, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Administrator is hereby authorized to hire Courtney Cooney as an alternate lifeguard/key attendant at an hourly rate of $3.35 an hour as lifeguard and $3.00 an hour as key attendant. Wallace Irwin, Alan Mason and Daniel Schuster (Consultant) of the Joint Town/Village Coastal Zone Management Committee appeared before the Town Board to present an update on the work completed by the Coastal Zone Management Committee. -1- 203 Submitted to the Board was a revised draft of Task III of the Coastal Zone Work Plan dealing with Local policies and applicable State policies. There being no further business to come before the Board, on motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, the meeting was adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
