RE: SOUNDVIEW WOODS, INC.
The letter of July 12, 1956, from Mr. Joseph E. Muson,
Counsel for Soundview Woods, Inc. , was read to the
members present in order to determine the course of
action. It was agreed that the preliminary map, with the
modification recommended at the July 2nd meeting, would
be acceptable to the Board.
A revised preliminary plot plan was received from
Mr. J. P. Ward, Surveyor for Soundview Woods, Inc. ,
subject to review by the Town Engineer, Mr. Maurice
Friedlander, and our Planning Consultant, Mr. Frederick
P. Clark, prior to formal acceptance.
Mr. Ward advised the Board that the revised preliminary
plot plan is on the basis of 62 lots on approximately 32
acres; that 80% of the lots will contain areas of at least
21, 750 square feet, which is approximately 1/2 acre in
size. He confirmed what Mr. Newberg had previously ad-
vised the Board, that the houses were to be in the approxi-
mate $45, 000 to $65, 000 class; that adequate drainage would
be provided for the run-off of the Sheldrake Creek in the
event of flooding conditions, without damage to the road or
