OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD SEPTEMBER 2, 1958,
AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS, 11 EDGEWOOD AVENUE, TOWN
OF MAMARONECK.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:30 p. m.
PRESENT: Mr. Fred Maggini, Chairman
Mr. John O'Conor
Mr. Joseph Rigano
Mr. G. Norman Blair
ALSO PRESENT: Maurice Friedlander, Town Engineer and
Building Inspector
Peter F. Kane, Councilman
John L. Delius, Town Attorney
ABSENT: Mr. Henry Mullick
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of August 7, 1958, were approved
as presented.
BOND---SUBDIVISION MURDOCK WOODS SECTION 3
Mr. Friedlander, Town Engineer, was instructed to write to
Split Tree Realty Corporation regarding the bond for Split Tree
woad. The road is not acceptable at this time and Mr. Friedlander
is to inform Split Tree Realty Corp. what the requirements for the
acceptance of the road are. A copy of this letter will be sent to
Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, holder of the bond.

PROPOSED SUBDIVISION--GLEN ROCK ESTATES, SECTIONS 1, 2 & 3
Mr. William Glaser, representing Glen Rock Estates, appeared
and asked permission to withdraw the Preliminary Plan he had filed
with the Board at their meeting of August 7, 1958.
After some discussion, on motion by Mr. Rigano, seconded by
Mr. Blair, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED that the Preliminary Plan submitted by Glen Rock
Estates at the August 7, 1958, be withdrawn.
Mr. Glaser then submitted Preliminary Plans for Glen Rock
Estates, Sections 1, 2 and 3, and stated that he was most anxious
to have a public hearing on this subdivision.
These plans were examined by the Board at some length. The
Chairman pointed out that there seemed to be no turn-around at
the westerly end of Country Road.
Mr. Glaser said that he would have his engineer, Mr. Latimer,
consult with Mr. Friedlander about this matter.
Following further discussion the Board informed Mr. Glaser
that if he could have a set of final plans, which met with the approval
of Mr. Friedlander, ready by September 27, the Board would hold
a special meeting to consider them and thereby a public hearing
might be arranged for October 6, 1958.
COMMUNICATIONS
A letter from Mr. Donald Oresman, president of the Pinebrook
District Property Owners Association, expressing the Association's
appreciation of the consideration shown them when they appeared
at previous meetings was read.
PROPOSED REVISED ZONING ORDINANCE
Mr. Rigano asked what was to be done regarding the regulation
of signs as to size, etc.

0 After some discussion it was decided that sign regulations will be
incorporated in the Building Code.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Friedlander suggested that the next project the Planning Board
should be to revise the "Requirements for the Approval of Subdivision
Plats in the Town of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this meeting
it was adjourned at 9:30 p. m.
