HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984_04_25 Town Board Special Minutes 121 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON THE 25TH DAY OF APRIL 1984 IN THE SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE OF THE TOWN CENTER, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Supervisor Battalia Present were the following: supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilman Lee H. Bloom Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilman Lawrence E. Lerman Absent: Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke Also Present: Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator Steven M. Silverberg, Counsel The Administrator presented to the Board items to be placed on the May 2, 1984 agenda. The Supervisor noted that the Town Board and Village Board will meet on May 3, 1984 at the Larchmont Village Hall Annex to discuss the garbage issue. The Town Board will also hold an Executive Session at 7:15 P.M. on May 2, 1984 to meet with Joseph Fisch to discuss personnel matters. The Board briefly discussed the expansion of the Zoning Board and Planning Board. The Board will seek qualified candidates. On motion by Councilman Bloom and seconded by Councilman Lerman, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Town Board will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel and litigation. The Administrator presented personnel matters in the Assessor's Office and Community Services Department. Counsel updated the Board on remaining items relating to the Perritano litigation. On motion by Councilwoman Silverstone and seconded by Councilman Lerman, the Executive Session was adjourned. - 1 - 122 The Board discussed Rock Ridge Road and, based upon the improper plantings made by Howard Loewentheil, instructed the Administrator to notify Mamaroneck Village Officials of the violation of the original stipulations of approval. On motion by Councilwoman Silverstone and seconded by Councilman Lerman, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that this Board will hold an Executive Session in the Town Center at 7:15 P.M. on Wednesday, May 2, 1984 to discuss Police personnel. There being no further business, on motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Stephen V.
