MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PLANNING
BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK,HELD JUNE
17, 1961, IN POLICE HEADQUARTERS, 11 EDGEWOOD
AVENUE, TOWN OF MAMARONECK.
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Maggini, chairman called the meeting to order at
9:30 a.m.
PRESENT: Fred L. Maggini, chairman
Joseph Rigano
G. Norman Blair
Lee Bloom
D. B. Follansbee
ALSO PRESENT: Fred Kellogg, Town Engineer
SIGN ORDINANCE
There was discussion concerning a sign ordinance sub-
mitted by Mr. Kellogg. This ordinance had been drafted by
Mr. Kellogg, and Mr. Delius, Town Attorney.
Following some discussion, Mr. Kellogg was asked to
confer further with the Town Attorney with regard to the
effect of this ordinance in its proposed form on present
Ordinance and Building Code.
COMMUNICATIONS---WINGED FOOT ESTATES
A letter from Briar Del Homes, Corporation #2 dated
June 16, 1961, requesting a substitution in the type of curb
to be used in Hidden Green Lane, in the above captioned
subdivision, was read. This request was to use concrete
curb rather than the native stone curb as shown on the
construction drawings filed.
Following some discussion this request was approved,
subject to the fact that air entraining cement be used and
that the concrete be dark grey in color.

Mr. Kellogg was authorized to write Briar Del Homes
Corporation #2 to this effect.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this
meeting it was adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
