BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD JANUARY
4, 1960, AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS, 11 EDGEWOOD
AVENUE, TOWN OF MAMARONECK.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:30 p. m.
PRESENT; Mr. Fred L. Maggini, Chairman
Mr. G. Norman Blair
Mr. Joseph Rigano
Mr. Lee Bloom
ABSENT: Mr. Henry E. Mullick
ALSO PRESENT; Councilman Peter Kane
Supervisor George D. Burchell
MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of December 7, 1959,
were approved as presented.
WELCOME
Mr. Maggini, chairman, welcomed the Supervisor
and expressed his pleasure in having Mr. Burchell
as a guest.
OLD BUSINESS
The report of Councilwoman Helwig on the meeting
of December 7, 1959 was submitted.

The secretary was requested to send a copy of the
report to all Board members.
NEW BUSINESS---LIGHTING
The matter of street lighting particularly on the Boston
Post Road was discussed at great length.
It was decided to ask Con Edison to make a survey and
study of all lighting in the Town and submit their
findings.
Councilman Kane is to act as the liasion for the Board
and Con Edison.
FUTURE MEETINGS
Mr. Maggini thought that it would be an excellent plan
to hold two meetings a year, or more if it seemed
necessary, with the Park, Recreation, Zoning and
Planning Boards and liasion members of both the
Villages and the Town of Mamaroneck.
The members of the Board agreed unanimously.
Mr. Burchell also thought the plan a sound one.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this
meeting it was adjourned at 10:00 p. m.
