HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984_03_29 Town Board Special Minutes 088 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON THE 29TH DAY OF MARCH 1984 IN THE SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE OF THE TOWN CENTER, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 A.M. by Deputy Supervisor Silverstone. Present were the following: Deputy Supervisor Caroline Silverstone Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke Councilman Lee H. Bloom Absent: Councilman Lawrence A. Lerman Supervisor Battalia arrived later in the meeting. Also Present: Stephen V. Altieri , Town Administrator Deputy Supervisor Silverstone stated that this meeting was being held to set the agenda for the Town Board's regular meeting on April 4, 1984. Councilman Bloom stated that the Board of Ethics would like a formal request to review the local law and rules and regulations governing the Ethics Code. Councilman Amlicke will speak of the road defect on Murray Avenue and also requested a meeting to discuss the Sanitation Commission. The Board briefly discussed the status of negotiations with the County on the Transfer Station. The Board discussed the writing of a job description for the Joint Planning Commission. The Town Board discussed setting evening hours for the agenda meetings. Deputy Supervisor Silverstone suggested that the meetings would be held on the Wednesday between regular Town Board meetings at 7:00 P.M. It was the consensus of the Board that they would try this time slot. The Town Board will make a formal request to the Recreation Commission - 1 - 089 for a report on the Hommocks Ice Rink. The Administrator presented several items to be placed on the agenda: CZM contracts, CAC presentation. On motion by Councilman Bloom and seconded by Councilman Amlicke, the meeting was adjourned at 9:20 A.M. Respectfully submitted, Stephen V. Altieri Town Administrator - 2 -
