OLD BUSINESS--WINGED FOOT GOLF CLUB
Mr. Lee Gagliardi, attorney, presented Mr. David Eggers,
architect, who submitted first an Orientation Plan and also
"Scheme B" for the proposed swimming pool at Winged Foot
Golf Club.
Mr. Gagliardi explained that "Scheme B" had certain
changes from "Scheme A" which had been submitted at the
meeting on February 5, 1962. These changes are as follows:
1. Loudspeaker mounting height is lower than shown
on "A"
338
r
2. Trees to be 15' not 30' as shown.
Mr. Eggers and Mr. Kellogg had a discussion in which it
was estimated that a new building plus new parking lot would
add 60-70 thousand dollars, minimum, above the cost of the
pool remaining in the vicinity of the sites "A" or "B" location;
i.e. closed to the existing Caddy building and parking lot,
where sites "A" and "B" are located.
Mr. Richard Friedman, attorney of Larchmont, repre-
senting people in opposition to this application, stated that
the group from POccia Circle and the other people he
represents are unalterably opposed to the general proximity
of Sites "A" and "B", and that they would oppose any pool
in this general area, and feel very strongly about it. There
were about 14 neighbors who are in opposition to this ap-
plication present.
Following some further discussion Mr. Gagliardi and
Mr. Friedman summed up their arguments. Mr. Gagliardi
requesting that the Board act on this matter promptly.
Mr. Maggini, Chairman, stated that he was not sure
that any decision by the Board would be reached at this time
or whether further study was necessary. That the Board
would make a decision and advise the parties concerned.

Mrs. Jerome Kaufman and Mrs. Maurice Serling, of the
League of Women Voters, were recognized by Mr. Maggini and
after asking some pertinent questions as to functions and pro-
cedures thanked the Board and departed.

Club application and it was decided that a special meeting would
be held at the Club at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 1962.

Mr. Friedman of this decision and ask them to be present.
