BOARD HELD JULY 6, 1966, IN THE AUDITORIUM OF THE WEAVER STREET
FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE, MAMARONECK, NEW
YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
In the absence of Mr. Fred Maggini, the meeting was
called to order by Mr. Lee Bloom at 8:20 p.m.
ROLL CALL

Mr. Winfield James
Absent: Mr. Fred Maggini
Mr. G. Norman Blair
Also present: Mr. William P. Widulski, Town Engineer
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of June 7, 1966 were pre-
sented and on motion duly made and seconded, approved
as submitted.
PUBLIC HEARING - EXTENSION OF TIME AND REDUCTION OF PERFORMANCE
BOND - MURDOCK WOODS- SECTION 5
The Chairman requested the Secretary to read the
Public Notice and declared the hearing open.
Mr. Meyer Goldstein, Attorney represented Saldrian
Developers, Inc., owners and developers of subdiv-
ision of Murdock Woods, Section 5.
Upon the recommendation of the Town Engineer, Mr.
Widulski, the Board refused to grant Mr. Goldstein's
request. The Board agreed to allow Saldrian Developers,
Inc., owners and developers of said subdivision, 30 to
60 days to demonstrate sufficiently that every effort
would be made to complete the work. If this is not
done, the Board will ask the Town Attorney to inves-
tigate to take proper steps to call the bond.
Mr. Goldstein presented revised plans for the unfin-
ished section of Kolbert Drive. The Board refused
to go into detail on the revision inasmuch as no
formal application had been made to change the plans.
PUBLIC HEARING - REDUCTION OF PERFORMANCE BOND - BALDWIN HILLS
Mr. Kretchmer, President of Baldwin Hills Development
and Mr. McKenna of Jason and McKenna, the builders,
appeared before the Board. It is estimated that the
work in this development will probably be done in
3 to 4 weeks and upon the recommendation of the

Town Engineer the Board approved the reduction of
the bond from $180,000.00 to $10,000.00 tubject to
the approval of the Town Board.
The following Resolution was thereby adopted to be
sent to the Town Board for its approval:
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1965 a public
hearing was held on a subdivision known
as Baldwin Hills Development; and
WHEREAS, at that time a resolution was
duly adopted by this Board setting a Per-
formance Bond for the construction of
roads, drains, etc., in said subdivision
in the amount of $180,000.00; and
WHEREAS, certain of this construction work
has been completed in a manner satisfactory
to the Town Engineer as set forth in memor-
andum from him herewith filed recommending
the requested reduction; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 277 of the
Town Law, a public hearing was duly held
by this Board on July 5, 1966, to consi-
der the request for reduction of the Per-
formance Bond from $180,000.00 to $10,000.00,
and all present were given the opportunity
to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Planning Board pursuant
to Section 277 of the Town Law and subject
to approval by the Town Board of the Town
of Mamaroneck, hereby reduces the amount
of said Performance Bond from $180,000.00
to $10,000.00 as recommended by the Town
Engineer; and be it further
RESOLVED, that certified copies of this
Resolution be sent to Mr. Charles Kretchmer,
President, Baldwin Hills Development, Inc.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this
meeting it was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
