APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of May 3, 1965 and June 7, 1965 were pre-
sented, and on motion duly made and seconded, approved
as corrected.
Revised Subdivision Map of Murdock Woods - Section 5
Request for reduction in performance bond.
Mr. P. M. Hughes, Jr. appeared and presented an original
tracing entitled "Re Subdivision Map of Murdock Woods -
Section 5 - Showing Drainage Easements through Lots 5,6,
7,8,9" and requested that the Chairman sign the map.
The Town Engineer and Town Attorney jointly presented a
memo stating that all items relating to the subdivision
were in order and that the Chairman could therefore sign
the map. The Town Engineer commented that a notation
stating "limit of Subdivision" still was lacking from
the map. Mr. Maggini stated that as soon as Mr. Hughes
would make the minor addition to the map, he would sign
and the Board agreed that such action would be in order.
Mr. Maggini noted that residents of Murdock Woods have
been complaining of dirt and the general condition of
Section 5 of the Subdivision and requested that this
situation be cleaned up and kept clean as Mr. Hughes
proceeds with his work. Mr. Hughes assured the Board
that he would comply with their request.
It was noted that Mr. Hughes had as yet not provided any
p::ysical connection between Kolbert Drive and Murdock
Road which is required by the plans and as a consequence
all this construction traffic uses the existing residential

streets in Murdock Woods rather than a construction "haul" road-
into the job site. Mr. Hughes stated that constructing a "haul"
road would be difficult at this time but that he would build it
later. The Board questioned such construction as being difficult
and it was agreed that several of the members would convene the
following morning and physically inspect the site. It was noted
that construction of such a "haul" road would virtually eliminate
all of the heavy trucking of fill and other construction materials
through the residential area and would be in the best interests'
of the entire Murdock Woods neighborhood.
Following some further discussion, on motion made by Mr. Rigano
and seconded by Mr. Bloom, it was unanimously agreed to extend
the expiration date of the bond from June 19, 1965 to August
19, 1965 and that the Board would review the status of the sub-
division prior to August 19, 1965
ADJOURNMENT
