BOARD HELD JANUARY 8, 1969, IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF THE WEAVER
STREET FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE, TOWN OF
MAMARONECK.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:25 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Fred L. Maggini, Chairman
Mr. Joseph Rigano
Mr. Lee Bloom
Mr. G. Norman Blair
Mr. Winfield James
Also present: Mr. William P. Widulski, Town Engineer
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of November 13, 1968 were
presented and on motion duly made and seconded, ap-
proved as submitted.
PUBLIC HEARING - SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 302 PART OF PARCEL 54-216
Mr. Kaneji Domoto, the Architect, represented the
applicants, Mr. and Mrs. Harold S. Lynton and Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Stern. The subject parcels had pre-
viously been subdivided from the Berringer property
and the Lyntons and Sterns have purchased lots in
excess of two acres each for the purpose of erect-
ing homes for their own use. The entire property
is approximately six acres and lot C is to be deeded
to Mr. Durst whose residence adjoins the property.
The Town is to put in a 10" water main which will
run parallel to the proposed driveway of the Lynton
residence and course through the property to connect
to the easement extending off of Split Tree Road.
After a short discussion the Board approved the sub-
division and the following Resolution was duly adopted:
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Harold S. Lynton
and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stern, owners of
property located at the northerly side
of Fenimore Road and known on the Tax
Assessment Map of the Town of Mamaroneck
as Block 302 part of Parcel 54-216 have
filed with this Board an application for
the approval of the subdivision of this
plat; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 276 of the
Town Law, a public hearing was held on

January 8, 1969 after notice was published
in the official newspaper of the Town of
Mamaroneck, the Daily Times; and
WHEREAS, this Board has examined the plans
and determined that the same are all sat-
isfactory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the application of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold S. Lynton and Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Stern, be and the same is hereby
approved subject to the following:
That an easement for purposes
of installation, maintenance
and service of water lines and
appurtenances, in form satisfac-
tory to the Town Attorney, be
delivered to the said Attorney
and recorded prior to the install-
ation of said water lines and
appurtenances.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon compliance
with the above condition, the Chairman
of the Planning Board is hereby authorized
to sign such subdivision plat as evidence
of the approval of same by this Board.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this
meeting it was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.d; I
