OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD JANUARY 8, 1962, IN
THE OFFICE OF THE TOWN ASSESSOR, 158 W. POST ROAD ,
MAMARONECK, NEW YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:15 p. m.
PRESENT: Fred L. Maggin, Chairman
Joseph Rigano
G. Norman Blair
Lee Bloom
ABSENT: D. B. Follansbee
ALSO PRESENT: Fred F. Kellogg, Jr. Town Engineer
William Paonessa, Building Inspector
John L. Delius, Town Attorney
NEW BUSINESS---WINGED FOOT ESTATES
The secretary read a letter from Briar Del Homes No. 2
Corp. re: Subdivision Map of Winged Foot Estates, Map #12673,
in which they made application for a performance bond.
The secretary then read a memo from Mr. Kellogg, stating
that a bond in the amount of $500. 00 would be sufficient, in
his estimation, for the work required.
Mr. Sam Paonessa and Mr. Vileno appeared and asked that
this request be granted.
Following some discussion on motion by Mr. Bloom, seconded
by Mr. Rigano the following resolution was unanimously adopted;

WHEREAS, on April 10, 1961 the Planning Board
adopted a resolution for a certain subdivision known as
Winged Foot Estates which is filed in the Office of
the County Clerk as Map of Winged Foot Estates
# 12763; and
WHEREAS, this resolution states that no building per-
mits shall be issued for the construction of any houses
on any lots except on lots numbered 10- 13 inclusive; and
WHEREAS, Sam Paonessa, for Briar Del Homes Corp.
# 2, has made application for a bond in a letter dated
January 2, 1962, to cover certain uncompleted work,
i. e. street lights, and street signs ars shown on the
plans heretofore approved; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board on the recommendation
of the Town Engineer, contained in a memo dated
January 5, 1962, deems that a bond in the amount
of $500. 00 would be sufficient to complete all necessary
work, including street lights , street signs and clean-
up work:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that Briar Del Homes Corp. #2 can furnish
a performance bond as provided in Section 277 of the
Town Law, said bond to be in the sum of $500. 00
and to run for a term of 18 months, which bond shall
be subject to approval by the Town Board as to form
and sufficiency.
OLD BUSINESS--SIGN ORDINANCE, ETC.
The sign ordinance and Building and Zoning Codes were dis-
cussed in great detail and changes were made by the engineer,
these changes and suggestions will be noted in a new draft of
these ordinance and discussed at the next meeting of theBoard
on February 5, 1962.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this meeting
it was adjourned at 10:00 p. m.
