HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984_03_02 Town Board Special Minutes 057 7 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON THE 2ND DAY OF MARCH 1984 IN THE TOWN CENTER, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK The meeting was called to order at 7:40 A.M. by Deputy Super- visor Silverstone. Present were the following: Deputy Supervisor Caroline Silverstone Councilman Lee H. Bloom Councilman Lawrence A. Lerman Absent: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke Also Present: Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator Steven M. Silverberg, Counsel Deputy Supervisor Silverstone stated this meeting was being held to set the agenda. Councilman Bloom briefly reviewed the events of the meeting held on March 1st in the Village of Mamaroneck on ambulance service. Councilman Lerman thought that someone should report on the out- come of the March 5th Traffic Committee meeting. Liaison to the Traffic Committee, Councilman Bloom, shall make the presentation. The Administrator presented several other items that required action by the Town Board at the March 7th meeting. Deputy Supervisor Silverstone briefed the Board on the meeting between Village Officials, Town Officials and School District Officials on the coordination of mutual needs, such as playing fields, certioraris and traffic. Councilman Lerman will report to the Board on the results of the Mamaroneck Village Planning Board. On motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilman Bloom, it was unanimously -1- 058 RESOLVED, that this Board hereby adjourns into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel and litigation. The Board discussed the Perritano litigation. Counsel to the Town presented a proposed stipulation to resolve the Perritano litigation. After some discussion, it was the consensus of the Board that the stipulation was acceptable with a few minor wording changes. There being no further personnel or litigation matters, on motion by. Councilman Bloom and seconded by Councilman Lerman, the Execu- tive Session was adjourned. The Board discussed possible financing alternatives for the renova- tion of the Town Center as presented by the Administrator. There being no further business, on motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilman Bloom, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 A.M. Stephen V. Altieri Town Administrator -2-
