' OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD DECEMBER 5, 1960, IN
THE OFFICE OF THE TOWN ASSESSOR, 158 WEST POST ROAD
MAMARONECK, NEW YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:15 p. m.
PRESENT: Fred L,, Maggini, chairman
Joseph Rigano
G. Norman Blair
Lee Bloom
D. B. Follansbee
ALSO PRESENT: Councilman Peter Kane
Fred Kellogg, Deputy Engineer
John L. Delius, Town Attorney
MINUTES:
The Chairman asked for recommendationa as to approval
of the minutes of October 3 and November 7, 1960.
Mr. Delius, town attorney, pointed out to the Board that the
map referred to in the minutes of October 3rd had been with-
drawn and a new map submitted.
Mr. McEvoy, town assessor, submitted the new map.
The minutes of the October 3rd meeting were then
amended to refer to the new map of Murdock Woods, Section 1.
The minutes of the November 7th meeting were approved
as presented.
OLD BUSINESS--SOUNDVIEW WOODS
Mr. Charles Newbergh, representing Soundview Woods,
and his son Mr. Robert Newbergh, appeared and asked if they

could proceed with work on the Soundview Woods subdivision as
to grading and miscellaneous drainage.
Mr. Laine, who has purchased a house in the development,
again stated that he and Mrs. Laine were most anxious that work
in the subdivision be done so that they could move into their house.
Mr. Kellogg, Town Engineer, stated that the Town is not
a party to any internal contract between private owners, bonding
companies or contractors for any part of construction work,
therefore, the Town cannot state whether or not the contract
between Newbergh's contractors and the bonding company is
adequate or complete.
Following some further discussion the Board decided to
take no action at this time.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this
® meeting it was adjourned at 10;00 p. m.
