HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984_02_17 Town Board Special Minutes 055 MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK HELD ON THE 17TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1984 IN THE SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE OF THE TOWN CENTER, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK The meeting was called to order at 7:40 A.M. by Supervisor Battalia IIIPresent were the following: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilman Lee H. Bloom Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilman Lawrence A. Lerman Also Present: Stephen V. Altieri,Town Administrator Steven M. Silverberg, Counsel On motion by Councilman Bloom and seconded by Councilman Amlicke it was unanimously "-_ RESOLVED, that the Town Board will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel _ and litigation. The Administrator presented to the Town Board the matter of upgrading of personnel and alternatives to handle this matter. It was the con- sensus of the Board that the Administrator could implement the alter- natives presented on this matter. The Board discussed the Police Department and also retaining labor counsel. Counsel presented an update on litigation matters: Perritano, Melron, Aqua Dredge. The Board discussed candidates to be considered for the Examining Board of Plumbers. On motion by Councilwoman Silverstone and seconded by Councilman Lerman, the Executive Session was adjourned. III IIIThe Supervisor asked if there were any questions or did the Board members require additional information relative to the agenda. The Board hereby discussed the Administrator's report to the - 1 - 056 Supervisor on the State Auditors report. The Supervisor stated that she will report to the public at the next regular meeting of the Board. -There being no further business, on motion by Councilman Amlicke and seconded by Councilman Lerman, the meeting was adjourned at 9:00 A.M.
