8:15 P.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of February 11, 1970 were
presented and on motion duly made and seconded, ap-
proved as submitted.
APPLICATION OF MR. JOSEPH PITTERA - BLOCK 130 PARCELS 141,151&239
Mr. Pittera appeared before the Board with an appli-
cation for the subdivision of a lot on Lafayette
Road and Lester Place and stated that he had decided
to build only on one of the lots of the proposed
subdivision that had been submitted at the February
meeting of the Planning Board. The applicant stated
that because of all the difficulties that would be
incurred if he built on the lot facing the unimproved
section of Lester Place he had decided not to build
on that lot.
After a brief discussion the Board decided that they
would approve the subdivision and the Secretary was
instructed to advertise for the Public Hearing for
the next meeting on April 8, 1970. The Board ad-
vised Mr. Pittera that it would be necessary for
him to apply to the Zoning Board of Appeals as the
proposed building lot has only a 20' street front-
age right-of-way on Lafayette Road. Mr. Pittera
was advised to have an official field map drawn up
showing the proposed subdivision.
"LOOK-ALIKE HOUSING"
Mr. Widulski asked the Board if there was any Town
Ordinance that would prevent a builder from con-
structing homes in a subdivision that were all ex-
actly alike. After a short discussion the Board
decided that they would look into this matter and
see if anything could be done to prevent "look-alike
0
houses".
C
SPECIAL PERMIT - BLOCK 133 PARCEL 449 - GARAGE NO. 5 WASHINGTON
SQUARE
The Town Board had requested the Planning Board to
make its recommendations regarding an application
by Mr. Allan Stillman for permission to rent a por-
tion of the existing tenant garage at 5 Washington
Square for the storage of new cars owned by the
Cadillac Motor Car Division, 77 East Main Street,
New Rochelle. The Chairman read the application
to the members of the Board but the Board felt they
had not had sufficient time to review the applica-
tion. It was decided they would examine the appli-
cation further at their next meeting on April 8,
1970 and would notify Mr. Stillman of the meeting
and give him an opportunity to discuss his case.
COMMUNICATIONS
Mrs. Helwig had given the Secretary a letter to be
presented to the Board. The Chairman asked the Sec-
retary to read the letter from Mr. William H. Childs
of 9 Seton Road in which he suggested that the Town
line be changed so that all the buildings in Larch-
mont Acres Apartments be part of the Town. Mr.
Maggini said he would speak to Mr. Widulski in refer-
ence to this matter.
CAPITAL BUDGET
The Board decided they would have a special meeting
to discuss the Capital Budget.
ADJOURNMENT

meeting it was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
