Norman Blair Mr. James G. Couch Also present: Mr. Charles R. Elfreich, Town Engineer APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of June 13, 1973 were presented and on motion duly made and seconded ap- proved as submitted. SUBDIVISION - EXTENSION OF LAUREL AVENUE Mr. Carducci presented a revised subdivision plan to the Board and stated that the dimensions of the lots are the same as on the previous plan. The ap- plicant intends to complete the road only far enough to provide access to all three lots. Mr. Carducci had agreed to complete the road all the way through but the neighbors want a dead end street. After further discussion the Board decided they would have preferred the street to go all the way through but would recommend to the Town Board their approval of a 25 ft. right-of-way. SUBDIVISION - BLOCK 325 PARCEL 81 Mr. Norway Picket of Criffen Avenue, Scarsdale, who is the father of Mr. Ronald Picket, the prospective purchaser of the dwelling on the proposed subdivi- sion represented the applicants and said that they had gone to the County Clerk's Office where two maps were on file for the development of this area. Mr. Picket stated that lots 23,24 and 25 had been reserved for future dedication of 25 feet to the center line of what was then known as Cabilane Road. Mr. Picket further stated that when the entire parcel was sold off in 1950 the Town had no interest in taking over any part of the street. The developer of the other part of the street had paved the road approximately 18 ft. wide. Mr. Picket, also, said that the Town in the meantime took the road over in rem and changed the name to Deerfield Lane. After further discussion the Board advised Mr. Picket to speak to Mr. Johnston, the Town Attorney and the Board requested the prospective developers to pave the 50' right-of-way.
