PUBLIC HEARING - APPLICATION FOR SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 502 PART
OF PARCEL 99
The Chairman requested the Secretary to read the
Public Notice.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Mamaroneck Plan-
ning Board pursuant to Section 276 and 277 of the
Town Law will hold a Public Hearing on January 12,
1972 in the Council Room of the Weaver Street Fire-
house, Weaver Street and Edgewood Avenue, Larchmont,
New York at 8:15 P.M. on the application for the
subdivision of a lot located at Iselin Terrace and
Lundy Lane and known on the Tax Assessment Map of
the Town of Mamaroneck as Block 502 part of Parcel
99.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons present will
be given an opportunity to be heard.
Mr. Blair announced that the Board had held a pre-
liminary hearing on the application at the previous
meeting of the Planning Board. The Zoning Board
had granted a variance, subject to the approval of
the Planning Board, because of a problem with the
setback from Lundy Lane.
After a short discussion the Board decided that both
Clots had more than sufficient area for an R-7.5 Resi-
dential District and they had no objection to the
subdivision. Mr. and Mrs. Galati appeared and there
was no one present in opposition to the application.

COMMUNICATIONS
The Supervisor, Mrs. Christine Helwig had presented
the Secretary with a copy of a letter from Mr. James
J. Johnston, the Town Attorney, in reference to the
application of the Montessori School to the Zoning
Board of Appeals of the Village of Larchmont. The
Montessori School is applying for a variance to en-
large the present building.
It was suggested the Town have a representative at
the Village of Larchmont meeting to present the Town's
opposition to the application because of the incon-
venience and annoyance presently caused to the Town
residents of Dean Place. Mr. Blair advised the Sec-
retary to inform Mrs. Helwig that he would attend
the meeting on January 19, 1972.
