Commissioner Chapin asked what the estimate was for the value of engine
37. Chief McDermott stated that he hoped between $2 ,000 and $3,000 .
Commissioners Chapin and Lerman asked if engine 37 could be put to some
other uses, such as in a playground, use for training or salvage
value. Chief McDermott explained that there are too many hazardous
things on the truck to be used in a playground and insurance rates
would go up if we kept the truck for training.

On motion by Commissioner Lerman, seconded by Commissioner Chapin, it
was unanimously resolved that the meeting be adjourned at 7 :30 pm.
