HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989_03_03 Town Board Special Minutes 3'7:: MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED TOWN BOARD MEETING OF MARCH 1, 1989, HELD ON THE 3RD DAY OF MARCH 1989 IN CONFERENCE ROOM A OF THE TOWN CENTER, 740 WEST BOSTON POST ROAD NAMARONECK, NEW YORK CONVENE REGULAR MEETING The Regular Meeting of the Adjourned Town Board Meeting of March 1, 1989 was called to order by Supervisor Battalia at 9:30 a.m. Present were the following members of the Board: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilwoman Elaine Price Councilman Chapin and Councilman McGarr were not present. Also present were: Patricia A. DiCioccio, Town Clerk Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator Steven M. Silverberg, Town Counsel Claudia Ng, Environmental Coordinator Supervisor Battalia indicated that the purpose of this meeting was to review and comment on the generic draft Environmental Impact Statement of the Boston Post Road and Weaver Street Urban Renewal Plan. The general consensus was that it was found to be deficient, in that specifically it does not address economic impact and it does not adress the issue of acquisition Counsel Silverberg stated that since it is technical, it should indicate that it is a generic environmental impact study. Councilwoman Price requested some kind of summary or introduction about why it isnt generic. The Supervisor then asked if Dan Shuster could be called today so as to receive this material before the next meeting of March 10th. There being no further business to come before the Board, on motion by Councilwoman Price, seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, the meeting was unanimously declared adjourned until 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10th, at 9:37 a.m. Town Clerk Patricia A.
