Justices Boyd & Collins,
Town Clerk Sherman.
The minutes of the meetings of Dec. 19th, 21st, 58th, 1933,
Tan. 4th, 8th, 16th, 23rd, Feb. 6th and Feb. 14th, 1924 were read
and upon motion ordered approved as printed.
The report of the Receiver of Taxes for the month of Feb-
ruary was received, read, ordered placed on file and is as follows:
March 1st, 19,24.

Pursuant to Seet,.on 23 of the Westchester County Tax Law I
hereby respectfully report the amount of State, County, Town, School,
Highvtay and Special District taxes , together with the interest and
penalties thereon, collected by me during the month of Eebruary,1924.

A communication from the Board of Appeals was received and
read stating that at their meeting held Feb, 28th, they had adopted
a resolution that the Board of Appeals recommend to the Town Board
that the appeal of Mr . Henry Schroeder to erect a one-family residence
on the northwest side of Hillcrest Ave, 317 feet from Feaver Street �
and within thirty feet from the street Pane be granted and the decision
of the Building Commission be reversed.
Thereupon the following resolution was adopted,
Whereas the Board of Appeals of the Zoning Com-
mission requested the Town Board that the appeal
of Henry Schroeder to erect a• one-family residence
on the northwest kids of Hal l n re st Ave. Z17 feet
from Teaver Street within 30 feet from the street
line be granted and the decision of the Building
Commission be reversed, therefore be it
RE9QLV71, That the Town Board pursuant to Article
5, Section 26 of the 'Tarn Law hereby consents to
and confirms the action of the Board of Appeals in
reversing the decision of the wilding Commission.
A communication from the Board of Assessors was received and
read, -reluesting the employment of an engineer for the purpose of alter-
ing naps ,wherever said changes may be necessary. The matter was re-
ferred to the Town Clerk to secure an estimated, amount of the costs
of said work.
The question of fixing the salary Of Assessors was then con-
sidered and upon motion duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the resolutions heretofore adopted
on Dec, 21st, 1923 relating to the salaries of
Assessors be and they hereby are rescinded.
— iThere-upon the following resol=ution was offered, duly second-
ed and upon ROLL CALL unanimously adapted, it was
RF..SOL777, that the salary of Ferdinand Fish, John
H. Murray and Tilliam E. Mulcahy, as members of
the Board of Assessors for the ensuing term be and
the same hereby is fixed at the sum. of 12 ,000. per
year each and be it further
790077, that the Clerk of the Board of Assessors
be and he hereby is allowed the additional sum of
Q.=00. per year by way of additional compensation

for the duties which he is required to
perform under law.
The Supervisor presented the budget for the year 1924, After
reading and discussion, it was
RESOLVED, that the same be and it hereby is
approved, spread upon the minutes, placed din
file and the Supervisor is authorized and direct-
ed to file a copy of same with the Board of Sup-
ervisors.

FIRST:- RESOLVED, that there be levied and assessed
upon the taxable property of the Town of
Mamaroneck and collected, and when collected,
paid to the Supervisor, the following amounts
for the purpose hereinafter set forth, to wit:-
A. To pay the salary of the Supervisor under the
Westchester County Tax Act, 3,000.00
B. 'TO pay the salUxy of the Clark to Supervisor, 1,500.00
C. To pay the salary of the Town Clerk, 330500.00
D. To pay the salary of the Receiver of Taxes
and Clerk, 50500.00
E. To pay the salary of the Three Assessors, 60400.00
F. To pay the salary of the Overseer of the Poor, 1,500.00

aroneck lying outside the corporate limits of
the Villages of Larchmont and Mamaroneck, and
collected, and when collected, paid to the
Supervisor, the following amounts for the pur-
poses hereinafter set forth, to wit:-
A. To pay for the repair and improvement of High-
ways 20,000.00
B. To pay the principal of Murray Avenue improve-
__ ment bond 47, 14000.00
C. To pay the interest of Murray Avenue improve-
ment bonds, 75.00
D. To pay principal of Murray Avenue completition
bond #9, 1,000.00
E. To pay interest of Murray Avenue completion

oneck, lying within Fire nistrict No. 2, and
collected and when collected, paid to the Super-
visor, the following amounts for the purposes
hereinafter set forth, to wit: -
A. To pay for the rental of Fire Hydrants, 120.00
R. To pay for the rental of fire house, repairs ,
maintenance, efc. Fire Company No. 2, 350.00
C. To pay for the collection and disposal of
.ashes, garbage, refuse, etc. , 750.00
Total amount, Fire District , No. 2, 1,220.00
