HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988_06_27 Town Board Special Minutes 148 MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD ON THE 27TH DAY OF JUNE 1988 IN CONFERENCE ROOM A OF THE TOWN CENTER, 740 WEST BOSTON POST ROAD, MAMARONECK, NEW YORK. I CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 8 :50 p.m. Present were the following members of the Board: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilman Stephen C. Chapin Councilwoman Elaine Price Councilman Henry Korn Also present were: Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator Edward M. Liebermann, Counsel to the Town Steven M. Silverberg, Special Counsel The Supervisor indicated the purposes of the meeting which were to discuss a current matter of litigation and a matter concerning personnel. She thereby requested the Board to consider adjourning into Executive Session. On motion by Councilman Chapin, seconded by Councilwoman Price, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Board adjourn into Executive Session to discuss matters of litigation and personnel. At this time, Steve Silverberg updated the Board on the status of a particular litigation, and a discussion ensued relating to such. The Town Administrator then discussed matters of personnel relating to the Town Police Department. Thereafter, on motion by Councilwoman Silverstone, seconded by Councilwoman Price, the Executive Session was unanimously declared adjourned. There being no further business to come before the Town Board, on motion by Councilman Korn,- seconded by Councilwoman Price, the Special Meeting was unanimously adjourned at 10 :45 p.m. Town Administrator Stephen V.
