The meeting was called to order by ,supervisor Burton a t 11 P. L Presents Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Collins, Howell and Leeds Clerk Sherman - Counsellor Gamble Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted to dispense with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved. A communication from Hrs. Elizabeth J.. Smith of 65 Palmer Avenue , was received and -read., petitioning that the zoning of the property above mentioned, be charged from resident- ial A to residential B. The communication was ordered received, placed on file and laid over for further action by this Board. Tr. Deegan appeared before the Board with :sirs. Vitro and spoke in relation to the re-zoning as C business district, from Class A residential district, the property fronting on Thompson Street, from Lyrtle Avenue to Laurel Avenue. After hearing from lir. Deegan and irs. Vitro , at which time Hr. J. B. Clifford entered his objection to the granting of the application, the matter was laid over for further action. Hr. Waite appeared before the Board in relation to his application to re-zone his property at the southwest corner of Fifth .Avenue and -dilliams Place , from class A residential district tc class C business district. _- After discussing the application, it was , upon motion, duly seconded, RTSOLVT-D, that the application to re-zone and reclassify the following described property: ALL those lots or parcels of land designated as lots 4 and 59 section 1, block 5, fronting on the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and Williams Place , from class A residential district, to class C business district, be and the same 'hereby is denied. The Board then took up for consideration, the application of William E. Campbell, for the erection_ of a private garage , on the south side of Hyrtle Place, After discussion, it was, upon motion_, duly seconded, =SOLVED, HFRFAS , the 'Town Board of the Town of TrTamaroneck, has duly advertised pursuant to law, a public meeting for the purpose of consider- ing certain applications therein stated, made under the Zoning Ordinance of the unincorporated part of the Town of Yamaroneck, which applications are now pending; and VHEREAS, the said Town Board having held said hearing and both parties having beer granted the privilege of appearing for or in opposition to the granting of certain applications as pro- vided under the said 'Zoning Ordinance , and after due consideration, therefore be it i{SOLZ1'D, that the 'Town Board of the Town of Iaamaroneck, sitting jointly as a Board of Appeals and as a Town Board, does hereby grant the following applications from the decision of the Building Commission, which decision is hereby reversed and does hereby consent to the granting of the following applications subject in each case to the specific conditions and safeguards therein stated.. 1. Application %Ios 1251 of ldilliam F. Campbell for the erection of a private Earage on the south side of Iyrtle Place , 350 feet westerly from %adison Avenue , be and the same hereby is approved, provided that said garage is erected not less than 28 feet from the front lot line of IrLyrtle Place, A- communication from Ur. C. C, i' erritt was received and read, reouesting of behalf of the Larchmont Avenue Church, exemption from taxation of the former Leeds property on 'Wendt Avenue. The communication was ordered received and placed on file , and referred to Counsel for his report and recommendation. The Clerk -reported that he had been served with an affidavit and order continuing a lien of Charles De Luca on certain public improverments in the Town of Lamaroneck. The matter was referred to the Supervisor, Sevier Com- mission and Counsel for their attention. The following resolution was presented and upon roll call imanimously adopted.- 'e'J; F11 H-AS, on the 12th day of September, 1928 this Board passed a resolution: consenting to an order's being made by the Supreme Court directing the County Treasurer of the County of ,Iestchester to cancel a sale on February 22nd, 1872, for a tax of the year 1869, levied against premises known. as Lot 201 Block 58, Section 8, said sale running in favor of the Town of L`amaroneck for 1000 years , the face amount thereof being X2.02; and 5'T7F+REAS5 the date of said sale was erroneoirly stated in said resolution as February 22nd, 18729 instead of February 22nd, 1871, now therefore , be it =SOL�TD, that the resolution aforesaid be amended by changing the date of sale therein referred to from February 22, 1872 to February 22, 1871. A communication from the Board of Sewer Commissioners 1;:as received and read, presenting petitions for the establihhment of an extension of Sewer District No. 1. The communication and petitions were ordered received, placed on file and referred to Counsellor Gamble for his report. The Clerk presented claims of the inspectors of elections of the 6th district, for extra compensation for work performed on registration days. The claims were referred to Counsel for his report. Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 12-30 A. Ii.
