The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 2030 P. h. Present; Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Howell and Leeds Town Clerk Sherman The Supervisor stated that the order of business was the opening of the bids for the sale of the Tocm of Lamaronecx :2009000. Highway Improvement Bonds, _pursuant to notice duly published, and upon _motion, duly made and seconded, the Clerk was requested to read the notice of sale of said bonds. The notice was accordingly read and on motion, duly made and seconded, the same was approved. It was thereupon regularly moved and seconded, that the Clerk proceed to open the bids received. The Clerk thereupon proceeded to open fifteen bids received in response to said notice , each of which bids was accompanied by a certified or Cashier' s check in the amount of $10, 000. as required by said notice. Putnam & Company, Inc. 3 ,238.00 " Wilhite, Weld & Co. 850.00 Bancitaly Corporation 2,402..00 Season.good and Mayer 22525.00 It Trust Company of Larchmont 2,690.00 to Dewey, Bacon & Co. 2.,300.00 "' - Batchelder, Stack & Co. 2 ,920.00 Kissel, Kinnicutt & Co. 2,598.00 " Lehman Bros. 22838.00 It i Rutter & Co. 2,400.00 It Harris , Forbes & Company 32239.40 "` Thereupon it was regularly moved by Judge Leeds and seconded by Judge Howell that the Board suspend and reconvene into executive session which was done. After twenty minutes the Board reconvened, whereupon Judge Leeds offered for adoption the following resolutions which were duly seconded by Tudge Boyd. RESOLVED, that Bankers Trust Company having bid ` 204,558.00 and accrued interest to the date of delivery for the 200,000. Highway Improvement Bonds of the Town of Samaroneck, New vor3., pursuant to resolutions of this Board adopted October 4th, 1928, and in ancordance with the notice of sale made and published -- according to law, said bid being the best bid received for the purchase of said bonds and complies with the terms and conditions of said notice of sale, said bonds are hereby awarded to Bankers Trust Company whose bid i.s hereby accepted; and it is further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor and `Town Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and empowered to execute said bonds and upon their execution the Supervisor im authorized and directed to deliver the sane upon receipt of the amount bid therefor, plus interest to the date of delivery, less the sum of $10,0OO4 , received witli its said bid; and it is further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor and Town Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and empowered to sign and execute such documents as may be necessary and proper to effect the delivery of said bonds; and it is further RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to return to the unsuccessful bidders their respective chedks. The question of the adoption of the foregoing resoluti(M wasduly put to a vote with the following result: Ayes: 5 Noes: none The resolutions were declared unanimously adopted.
