The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton

Upon motion, MY seconded, it was voted to dispense
with the reading of the minutes of meetings not Yet approved.
Messrs. Hinckley, Smith, Stern and others , members of

in connection with the application heretofore made by the West '
choster Streat Railway Company for a consent to operate busses
on 1-amaro cc! Avenue , and hr. Hinckley representing the Association
stated to the Supervisor that Isey simply desired to be advised
as to the Progress being made in the negotiations now being carried
on.
Supervisor Burton recuested Counsel to report on the
status of the negotiations, which he did.
Hr. Wm„ E. Lyons, Jr. , also addressed the Board on the
Supervisor Buxton also advised the Board and the delega-
tion that in his opinion neZotintions were Proceeding satisfactor-
ily at the present time .
Hr 1yons stated that the proceedings before the Public
Service Commission, in connection with the application of the
County Transportation Company for a Certificate of Convenience and
Yec�ssitYto operate twir rain line into the City of Kew Rochelle ,
had been adjourned at the meeting tonay, at his request, for two
OeeA, and until September 2?th, to be given additional time to
carry on the negotiations , which he believed would be successfully
concluded, so that the best interests of the 1-U.nicipalitie8 F-s well
as the transportation companies affected, would be best served.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10:30 P. H.
