Ne Present: Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Howell and Leeds Town Clerk Sherman Counsellor Garble Upon motion, duly seconded, it Was voted to dispense with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved. Mr. Sherman called the attention of the Board to the death of Mrs. Ps H. Collins, knife of the Tustics of the Peace Collins on June at'_., 1928s and offered for adoption the follow- ing resolution. RESOLVED, that we record our deep sorrow for the untimely passing away of Yrs. P. He Collins to the great beyond, and we extend to Justice of the Peace, P. H. Collins and family, our heart felt sympathy in their hour of bereavement, and it was further R^SOLVED, that the Clerk be requested to send a certified copy of this resolution to the family of the deceased. The Board continued its discussion of the matter cf the Possibility of purchasing the two parcels of land on Myrtle Avenue and 'Pine Street and of additional property at the corner of Murray Avenue and Myrtle Avenue . Upon motion, duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that a Committee of the Board;g consisting of Supervisor Burton, Judge, Leeds and RalDh A. Gamble, Counsel, and they herAy are authorized and ?„mpower- ed to confer with the Test;hester County Parkway Commission regarding the plans or said Commission for Port Chester- Pelham Parkway at points contiguous to these two parcels and to ascertain the possibility of the Parkway Commission cooperating with the Town in the purchase of a portion or portions of said parcels. - Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 5 P.
