The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton

Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins, Howell and Leeds
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted to dispense
with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved.
The Board continued the hearing relating to the applic-
ation before the Board for the erection of a three story piiblic
garage on the south side of Myrtle Avenue , adjacent to the Town
Park.
A communication from the Westchester County Park Com-
mission was received and read, stating its position in this
matter.
The communication was ordered received, noted in the
minutes and placed on file.
A. communication from the Garden Club of Larchmont was
received and read, objecting to the granting of a permit for the
erection of the aforementioned garage.

minutes and placed on file.
After a full discussion of the entire matter, at which
time Mr. Esser appeared for the applicant and Mr. Sch_ramek repres-
enting the Lardaxmont Gardens Association appeared against the grant-
ing of the application, it was, upon motion, duly seconded,
RESOLVE, that the hearing on the applic-
ation of Hyman Lehman, for the erection
of a three story public garage on the south
side of Myrtle Avenue, adjacent to the Town
Park, be and the same hereby is further ad-
journed until Tuesday*. May 29th, at 2:30
P. M. , and it was further
RESOLVED, that the Clerk be authorized and
directed to notify the Associations of the
Unincorporated section of the Town of Mamaron-
eck, requesting their opinion upon the question
of purchasing this property as an addition to
the present flown Park.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 10:20 P. M.
