OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD IN THE BOARD ROOM AT 11

EDGEWOOD AVENUE, LARCHMONT, NEW YORK, ON DECEMBER 22nd, 1948.
Mr. Brewer called the meeting to order at 8:15 P. M.
There were PRESENT: Munn Brewer, Chairman
Clifford W. Cross
George D. Burchell
Cornelius J. Quinn
ABSENT: Charles F. Mink
The minutes of the previous meeting, held November 24th, 1948,
were approved as presented.
In accordance with a resolution of this Board, adopted October
27th, 1948, Mr. Alfred Willis, architect for Mr. Gaetano
Ciancuilli, submitted plans for approval by the Board, in con-
nection with premises known as Block 130, Parcel 94 on the Tax
Assessment Map of the Town of Maaiaroneck, and in accordance
with resolution of November 24th, 1948, Mr. C. W. MacArthur
submitted plans for approval by the Board, in connection with
premises known as Block 409, Parcel 801. These plans were
referred to Mr. Mink.
The application presently before the Board was that of Luby
Chevrolet Co. , by Arthur Peyser, Agent, for modification of
Article II, Section 3, and Article III, Section 9, to permit the
erection of a lubritorium on the rear of property on the west
side of the Boston Post Road, from Weaver Street to Ferndale
Street, and known on the Tax Assessment Map of the Town of
Ma;iaroneck as Block 410, Parcel 268.
The Clerk stated that notice of the hearing had been duly
published and copies of the notice sent to owners of the
surrounding premises.
The applicant was represented by Julian H. Hyman, Esq. who
addressed the Board and submitted blue prints of the proposed
building, a sketch of the property and a brief,in support of
the application.
No one else appeared in behalf of the application and the
4 following residents registered their opposition:
Mr. Antony Garofalo, 24 Weaver Street
Mr. Carleton F. Winkler, 27 Weaver Street
Mr. Fred Moll, 43 Weaver Street
Mrs . Josephine Fazio, 30 Weaver Street
Mr. Fred N. Dodenhoff, 23 Weaver Street
Miss Mary Moll, 33 Weaver Street
After discussion, it was announced by the Chairman that this
application would be adjourned for all purposes until the
26th of January, 1949, which is the date of the next regular
meeting of the Board, at the same time and place.

In the meantime, it was suggested to the applicant that he
present some plan to extend the present building to house
the lubritorium.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P. M. , to meet again on the
26th of January, 1949.
