HomeMy WebLinkAbout1951_03_19 Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD MARCH 19th, 1951, IN THE BOARD ROOM AT 11 EDGEWOOD AVENUE, TOWN OF MAMARONECK. PRESENT: Mr. Burke Mr. Rigano Mr. Brush ABSENT: Mr. Wullschleger Presence was also noted of Building Inspector, Mr. Thomas J . McEvoy ' and the Town Attorney, Mr. John L. Delius. In the absence of Mr. Wullschleger, Mr. Burke acted as Chairman. The Board met by agreement to examine the plans submitted by Flinn Motor Corporation for an addition or extension to its buildings used for the sales and service of Ford automobiles on the Boston Post Road, which addition or alteration consists of a repair and paint shop for automobiles. The Building Inspector submitted plans in detail showing the loca- tion of the addition. Mr. Alfred Willis, architect for Flinn Motor Corporation, explained to the Board, the situation with regard to the addition. After discussion, upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the plans as submitted to the Building Inspector by Flinn Motor Corporation, be and they hereby are (subject to approval by the Building In- spector, the State Labor D=partment and the State De- partment of Hygiene) approved, in accordance with the resolution previously adopted by this Board on September 15th, 1948, in connection with application made by DayhaT Realty Corporation (I . C . Flinn, President) which provided that any structural addition thereafter made should be subject to the approval of the Zoning Board of Appeals. A vote taken on this resulted as follows: AYES: Mr. Burke, Mr. Brush, Mr. Rigano NOES: None There being no further business to come before the meeting, it adjourned. Secretary -24-
