HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952_03_31 Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, HELD MARCH 31, 1952. The Board met pursuant to adjournment taken at the last regular meeting for the purpose of passing on the application of C . W. Moody for modi- fication of Article III , Section 9 of the Zoning Ordinance as amended, to permit the erection of a one-family dwelling within 40 feet of the front street line, namely 15 feet, in an "AA" Residential Zone, on premises on the west side of Wilson Lane, known as Block 313, Parcel 49 on the Assessment Map of the Town of Mamaroneck. Mr. McEvoy presented a copy of a filed map, No. 7626, and stated this had been filed today (March 31, 1952) in the County Clerk' s Office, Division of Land Records. The map is entitled "Map of Glen Eagles Ridge, Section 1, belonging to Rockledge Holding Corporation, Town of Mamaroneck, West- chester County, N. Y. , being a re-subdivision of a portion of Fenimore Cooper Park, Section D, as made by John M. Farley, C . E. , July 9, 1923 and filed in the County Clerk' s Office, July 13, 1923 as Map No. Vol. 55, page 79", made by A . J . Foote, March 28, 1952 and filed in the County Clerk' s Office, Division of Land Records on March 31, 1952, as Map No. 7626, and shows the property as described by Mr. Moody at the Board' s regular meeting on March 26th, 1952, as Lot 1. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that the application as made by C . W. Moody, and which refers to Block 313 Parcel 49 on the Tax Assessment Map of the Town of Mamaroneck, be amended so as to apply to Lot 1 on a certain map entitled "Map of Glen Eagles Ridge, Section 1, belonging to Rockledge Holding Corpora- tion, Town of Mamaroneck, Westchester County, N . Y. , being a re-subdivision of a portion of Fenimore Cooper Park, Sec- tion D, as made by John M. Farley, C . E. , July 9, 1923 and filed in the County Clerks s Office, July 13, 1923 as Map No. Vol. 55, page 79", made by A. J. Foote, dated March 28, 1952 and filed in the County Clerk' s Office, Division of Land Records on March 31, 1952 as Map No. 7626.
