THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD IN ThE BOARD ROOM AT 11 EDGEWOOD
AVENUE, LARCHMONT, NEW YORK, ON THE 5th day of APRIL, 1950.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Quinn at 8 P . M.

Mr. Burke
Mr. Wullschleger
Mr. Mink
Mr. Butterfield •
ABSENT: None
Mr. Quinn explained that this meeting had been adjourned from the
meeting of March 22nd, in order to give the applicants, T. R. Allen
and Otto Jensen, an opportunity to come to some agreement with
surrounding property owners who had appeared at the meeting of
March 22nd and protested against the granting of this variance.
Mr. Allen addressed the Board and stated that they had changed their
application and were now merely asking for a variance from the 30 foot
set back requirement from a side street (Weaver Street) and that he
had contacted all the protesting parties who had now withdrawn their
objections.
He said he had called Mr. J . Gordon Buss, 9 Bonnie Way, who in turn
called neighbors and the attorney they had engaged to represent them.
They no longer have any objections, said Mr. Allen, and instructed
their attorney not to attend this meeting.
Mr. Allen displayed his new plot plan to those Board members (Mr.
Mink and Mr. Burke) who had been unable to attend the informal
meeting on April 2nd, when interested parties met and tried to
straighten out the situation.
They are now asking for a 20 foot side set-back from Weaver Street.
Mr. C. W. Moody was present and stated that he had no objection to
the application.
Mr. Henry M. Leslie,- 17 Althea Lane, was present and stated that he
:had no objection to the application. He said he was also repre-
senting Mr. Harold Prior, 22 Althea Lane.
Mr. Quinn informed the applicants that they would be notified of
the Boardts decision.
The Board went into executive session and first discussed tke letter
wfitten. to each member of the Board by Mr. Delius, the Town Attorney.
They then took up the matter of the application before them at this
meeting and on motion duly made and seconded, the following resolu-
tion was adopted:

WHEREAS, T. R. Allen and Otto Jensen have taken an appeal from
a decision of the Building Inspector denying their application to
permit the erection of a one-family dwelling on the east side of
Bonny Way, corner of Weaver Street, known on the Tax Assessment Map
as Block 106, Parcel 490, with a rear set-back of less than 15% of •
the average depth of the plot, as required by Article III, Section
9 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Mamaroneck; and
WHEREAS, the application came on duly to be heard by this Board
at its regular meeting held March 22nd, 1950, and the Board, after lo
hearing all persons who appeared for and against this application,
adjourned the matter until April 5th, 1950, to enable the applicants
to contact the persons in the immediate neighborhood, particularly
those who had voiced their opposition; and
WHEREAS, this matter came again before this Board on April
5th, 1950, the date previously set for a special hearing and it
appeared that the applicants are now willing to comply in all respects
with the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance except that they request
that permission be granted by this Board, pursuant to Article III,
Section 9 of the Zoning Ordinance, for a set-back of the building
which is to be erected on a corner lot a less distance than 30 feet
from the__s_ide_,street, to wit, 20 feet from Weaver Street,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that this Board hereby and pursuant to Article III,
Section 9 of the Zoning Ordinance, permits and consents to
the erection of a single family dwelling upon the lot or plot
known as Block 106, Parcel 490, on the east side of Bonnie
Way, corner of Weaver Street, with a set-back from Weaver
S treet of not less than 20 feet, provided that such dwelling
be erected in accordance with the plans and specifications now
on file with the Building Inspector and that the applicants
comply in all other respects with the Zoning Ordinance and
Building Code of the Town of Mamaroneck.
A vote taken on this resolution resulted as follows:
AYES: Mr. Quinn, Mr. Burke, Mr. Wullschleger,
Mr. Mink and Mr. Butterfield
NOES: None
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
adjourned at 8: 55 P. M.
