TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD OCTOBER 28, 1953, IN THE MAMARONECK TOWN
POLICE STATION, 11 EDGEWOOD AVENUE, TOWN OF MAMARONECK.
The meeting was called to order at 8 P . M. , by Mr. Wullschleger.

Mr. Burke
Mr. Rigano
ABSENT: Mr. Brush
Mr. Maggini '
Presence was also noted of Mr. McEvoy, Building Inspector, Mr. Delius,
Town Attorney, and Mrs. Barnes, Clerk to the Board.
On motion duly made and seconded, the minutes of the previous meeting,
held July 22, 1953, were approved as presented.
The Clerk read the application before the Board which was that of
C . Mayone Corp. , Contract Vendee, and Mary C . Mead, Owner and Contract
Vendor, for modification of Article II, Sections 3 and 4 of the Zon-
ing Ordinance, to permit construction and use of premises as a motel
consisting of 53 attached units for tourist accommodations and facili-
ties under the common roof and arranged in an "L" around a central
court, building to be set back at least 60 feet from Boston Post Road,
40 feet from rear line and having minimum side line set backs of at
least 40 feet. Building to be shielded from the Boston Post Road by
vast rock formation at northwest corner of plot which is to remain
in its present condition and to maintain natural beauty of plot, on
premises on the south side of the Boston Post Road, 200 feet west from
Hommocks Road, known on the Tax Assessment Map of the Town of Mamaro-
neck as Block 411 Parcel 169, front 100 feet of which is in Business
"C" Zone and the rear portion of plot in Residence "A" Zone.
Mr. William S. Brill, an attorney, was present to represent the
applicants.
There was no opposition.
Mr. Wullschleger announced that inasmuch as he felt there should be a
full Board to consider this application, he would suggest that the
meeting be put over until Friday, November 6, 1953.
Mr. Brill asked that the matter be set down for a formal hearing at that
time.
Mr. Delius stated that the rules which govern the Zoning Board, provide
that a meeting may be adjourned and that a special meeting may be held
at the call of the Chairman or at such time as the Board may determine.
Mr. Delius also stated that there are two other cases to come before the
Board at the time of the next hearing.

On motion by Mr. Rigano, seconded by Mr. Burke, it was unanimously
RESOLVED that the regular meeting called for this day,
pursuant to notice, and the hearing of the application of
C . Mayone Corporation, Contract Vendee, and Mary C . Mead,
Owner and Contract Vendor, be adjourned until November 6,
1953, at 8 P . M. , at the Mamaroneck Town Police Station,
which is the date set for a special meeting of this Board,
pursuant to its rules and regulations and at such meeting,
further applications may be heard upon publication duly
made as required by its rules.

There being no further business to come before the meeting, it adjourned
at 8: 30 P . M. , to meet again on November 6, 1953.
