OF LIALARCNECK, HELD IN THE COUNCIL ROO}I OF THE WEAVER STREET FIRE HOUSE,
WEAVER STREET IN THE TOWN OF YAaARONECK ON JULY 25th, 1951, at 8 P. N.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Wullschleger.

Presence was also noted of the Building Inspector, Mr. McEvoy and the
Town Attorney, Mr. Delius .
On notion duly made and seconded, the minutes of the meeting of June
27th, 1951, were approved as presented.
The application before the Board was that of Harriet P. Fernschild for
modification of Article III, Section 9 of the Zoning Ordinance to per-
mit the erection of a one-family dwelling on a lot having an approxi-
mate area of 10,000 square feet, known as Block 208, Parcel 430 on the
Assessment Map of the Town of LIanaroneck.
Mr . William Fernschild, representing Harriet P. Fernschild, appeared in
behalf of the application and submitted a copy of his deed from the Town
of Mararoneck, dated July 17, 1945.
He stated that the Ordinance had been amended in 1948, putting this
property in the AA Zone, where an area of 15,000 square feet is re-
quired upon which to erect a house . The lot in question, known as
Block 208, Parcel 420, has only 10,000 square feet.
The Chairman inquired whether there was anyone in favor of the applica-
tion.
Mr. Frank Buxton and wife, 111 i,iohegan Road, owners of Block 208, Parcel
479, were in favor of it, as was also L r . Charles G. Williams, owner of
Block 208, Parcel 406.
There was no opposition.
The Board then went into executive session and after discussion, upon
motion duly made and seconded, the following resolution was adopted:
WHEREAS, Harriet P . Fernschild has applied for a variance in the
use of property in the Unincorporated Section of the Town of Mararoneck,
known on the Tax Assessment Map as Bloc,k 208, Parcel 420, to permit the
erection th an AA Zone of a one-family dwelling on a lot having approxi-
mately 10,000 square feet; and

WHEREAS, this Board, pursuant to the usual notice duly published,
held a public hearing on this application, on the 25th of July, 1951,
at which various persons appeared in support of the application; and
WHEREAS, at such hearing, proof was offered indicating that this
property had been purchased from the Town of Mamaroneck in 1945, prior
to the amendment of the Ordinance,
N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that the application for said variance
be and it hereby is granted to the extent of per-
mitting the erection of a one-family dwelling on
the plot or parcel known on the Tax Assessment
Map of the Town of Mamaroneck as Block 208, Parcel
420, which has an area of less than 15,000 square
feet, provided that in all other respects, the
applicant abide by the provisions of said Ordinance
and the Building Code of the Town of Mjanaroneck.
A vote taken on this resulted as follows:

There being no further business to come before the meeting, it ad-
journed.
