MAMARONECK HELD FEBRUARY 13, 1985, IN THE AUDITORIUM OF THE WEAVER
STREET FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE, LARCHMONT,
NEW YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:15
P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Paul Kalos, Chairman
Mrs. Mary Carlson
Mr. Anton Schramm
Mr. Emil Nicolaysen
Mr. Sanford Bell
Mrs. Caryl Mahoney
Mr. Lester Bliwise
Also present: Mr. Lee Hoffman, Jr. , Town Counsel
Mr. Gary Trachtman, Engineering Consultant
Mr. Stephen Altieri, Town Administrator
Dr. Alan Mason, Conservation Advisory Committee
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
On motion made, seconded and carried the minutes of the
meeting of January 16, 1985 were approved as submitted.
APPLICATION OF GARFIELD HOUSING - SEQR - SITE PLAN
The Chairman asked Mr. Bell to tale over as Chairman for
this part of the meeting.
The Board accepted the Site Plan application as complete
except for some SEQR issues. Mr. Hoffman advised that
no decision could be made on the Site Plan review until
the SEQR process was complete.
A motion was made and seconded with all the members voting
in favor except Mr. Kalos,who abstained from voting, that
a Public Hearing be set up for the next regular meeting
on March 13, 1985 for the Site Plan application.
The Secretary was advised to send the notice for the Public
Hearing to the newspaper and a copy of the application
referred to all the parties as designated in the Site Plan
Review Law for their comments.
PUBLIC HEARINGS - MALONEY-BERRINGER - SEQR AND PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION
APPROVAL
A Public Stenographer was present to take the notes for
this application and his minutes will be made part of the
record.
A motion was made and seconded that both Public Hearings
be adjourned and the Board decided to hold a Special Meet-
ing on March 7, 1985 in the Auditorium of the Weaver Street
Firehouse. The Secretary was asked to make the arrangements.
PRESUBMISSION HEARING - OLD WHITE PLAINS ROAD
Mr. Panayoton from the firm of Raymond Keyes, Engineers,
Mr. Seligman, an Attorney and Mr. A. Backstrom all appeared
before the Board with several different plans for the sub-
division of the property. The Board looked at the plans
and advised the applicants that off the record there were
no strenous objections to any of the proposed layouts.
The Board suggested the applicant proceed with the appli-
cation process.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this meet-
ing it was adjourned at 11:30 P.M.
