MAMARONECK HELD JANUARY 12, 1983, IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF THE WEAVER
STREET FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE, LARCHMONT,
NEW YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:15
P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Paul Kalos , Chairman
Mr. Warner Pyne, Jr.
Mr. Anton Schramm
Mr. Emil Nicolaysen
Absent: Mrs . Mary Carlson
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of December 8, 1982 were pre-
sented and on motion duly made and seconded, approved as
submitted.
PRELIMINARY HEARING - SUBDIVISION ON OLD WHITE PLAINS ROAD - BLOCK
315 PARCEL 235
The applicant, Mrs. Tishnanwas represented by Mr. Senor.
The Board discussed the proposed plan and decided that
the application was a Type 2 and will not require an En-
vironmental Impact Statement. The Board asked Mr. Senor
to show on the plan the proposed entrance to the vacant
lot and advised the applicant that the Secretary would
publish the notice fo the Public Hearing to be held at
the next meeting on February 9th.
OLD BUSINESS - REZONING OF PROPERTY AT 6 WEAVER STREET
Members of the Board had received a memo from the Town
Attorney and Building Inspector regarding Dr. Serlin's
application for rezoning his property. The Attorney and
Building Inspector both said they did not think it would
be in the best interest of the Town to merge the two par-
cels as had been suggested at the last meeting but rather
that the applicant present himself to the Zoning Board
of Appeals for a variance to provide more off-street park-
ing. The Secretary was asked to sent a copy of the memo
to the Town Board.
PALMER AVENUE OFFICE BUILDING - 2155 PALMER AVENUE - L .M.R. ASSOCIATES
The Secretary gave the members of the Board their copy
of the Final Environmental Impact Statement and the Board
decided that the Notice of Completion should be prepared
and the proper offices notified so that comments can be
received by the next meeting. Motion was made and seconded
that the Applicant' s Attorney be notified and the document
be sent to the proper persons.
OFFICE BUILDING - VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK
The Secretary had written a letter to the Chairman of the
Zoning Board of the Village of Mamaroneck requesting that
no decision be made on the application for a Special Per-
mit to construct an office building on Fenimore Road.
Mr. Goldsmith, the Supervisor had attended the meeting
of the Village Board. The Planning Board decided that
since the Supervisor had appeared it would not be neces-
sary for the Planning Board to attend any future meetings.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this meet-
ing it was adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
