MAMARONECK HELD DECEMBER 14, 1983, IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF THE WEAVER
STREET FIREHOUSE, WEAVER STREET AND EDGEWOOD AVENUE, LARCHMONT, NEW
YORK.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:15
P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Paul Kalos, Chairman
Mrs. Mary Carlson
Mr. Warner Pyne, Jr.
Mr. Anton Schramm
Absent: Mr. Emil Nicolaysen
Also present: Mr. Charles R. Elfreich, P.E., Town Engineer
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of November 9, 1983 were presented
and on motion duly made and seconded, approved as submitted.
PUBLIC HEARING - SUBDIVISION - BLOCK 116 PARCEL 428 - 31 SETON ROAD
PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Mamaroneck Planning
Board pursuant to Sections 276 and 277 will hold a Public
Hearing on December 14, 1983 in the Council Room of the
Weaver Street Firehouse, Weaver Street and Edgewood Avenue,
Town of Mamaroneck, Larchmont, New York at 8:15 P.M. on
an application for the approval of an amended subdivision
map now or formerly owned by Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hafetz
located at 31 Seton Road and known on the Tax Assessment
Map of the Town of Mamaroneck as Block 116 Parcel 428 and
shown on a survey done by Richard A. Spinelli revised on
October 11, 1983.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all persons present will be given
an opportunity to be heard.

RONECK PLANNING BOARD

The Board discussed the application of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick
Hafetz and decided they had no objection to the granting
O of the application for the subdivision. Mrs. Carlson who
came after the other Board members had made their decision
said she was against the application. The following Reso-
lution was adopted:

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hafetz, owners
or former owners of the property located at 31
Seton Road and known on the Tax Assessment Map
of the Town of Mamaroneck as Block 116 Parcel
428 has filed an application for the approval
of the subdivision plat; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 276 and 277 of the
Town Law, a Public Hearing was held on December
14, 1983 after a notice was published in the of-
ficial newspaper of the Town of Mamaroneck, The
Daily Times; and
WHEREAS, this Board has examined the plans and
a variance granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals
and determined that the same are all satisfactory;
and
WHEREAS, this Board has further determined that
the application will not cause problems to water
supply, sewerage disposal, drainage, fire protec-
tion or noise and therefore will not have significant
affect upon the environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the application of Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Hafetz be approved subject to the ap-
proval of the Westchester County Health Depart-
ment. The Chairman of the Planning Board is hereby
authorized to sign such subdivision map as evi-
dence of approval of same.
OLD BUSINESS - REVIEW OF APPLICATION OF LMR ASSOCIATES - 2155 PALMER AVENUE
The Planning Board discussed a letter from Mr. Purves in
reference to the above-mentioned application. After dis-
sing the contents of the letter the Board decided they
would not make any decision until actual plans for the
revised proposal are submitted to the Building Department
as to whether the Final Environmental Impact Statement
submitted for the previous application is acceptable for
the new application.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before this meet-
ing it was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
