HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006_04_25 Coastal Zone Management Commission Minutes CZMC Minutes April 25, 2006 A regular meeting of the Coastal Zone Management Commission (CZMC)was held on April 25, 2006 in the Mamaroneck Town Center, Conference Room A, 2' Floor, 740 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, New York. Approval of Minutes—March 28, 2006 The minutes were approved as amended for March 28, 2006. 2. Referrals: a. Wetlands and Watercourses Permit— Chiam Cohen —23 North Brook Road—Block 214, Lot 545 Referred by the Town of Mamaroneck Planning Board Adjourned until May 23, 2006 however, the applicant attended the meeting to present preliminary plans for the project. CZMC requested that the plans provide topography for the site and surrounding area, show proposed erosion control measures, percolation test Page 1 of 2 results for the drywells, areas requiring fill and/or grade changes and any necessary tree removals. b. Site Plan Approval— 18 Roosevelt Avenue—Block 607, Lot 573 Referred by the Village of Larchmont Planning Commission CZMC finds the proposed addition to be consistent with the policies set forth in the LWRP. The applicant is proposing the use of appropriate erosion control measures and proposes the use of infiltrators to retain additional stormwater runoff from the site. c. Site Plan Approval—54 Magnolia Avenue—Block 727, Lot 382 Referred by the Village of Larchmont Planning Commission CZMC finds the proposed addition to be consistent with the policies set forth in the LWRP. In addition to reducing the overall amount of impervious surface by reducing the size of the driveway, the applicant is proposing the use of appropriate erosion control measures and the use of infiltrators to retain additional stormwater runoff from the site. d. Height Variance—28 Pryer Manor Road—Block 506, Lot 96 Referred by the Town of Mamaroneck Zoning Board of Appeals CZMC finds the proposed addition to be consistent with the policies set forth in the LWRP. The applicant is proposing the use of appropriate erosion control measures and design elements required for construction in a flood zone. 3. Old Business a. Federal Aviation Administration Area Airspace Redesign — DEIS Review — This project will be reviewed by the NYSDOS. b. Town of Mamaroneck Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance—A blacklined copy of the erosion control law will be circulated to everyone for review and comment. 4. New Business No new business. The next scheduled CZMC meeting will be held on May 23, 2006 at the Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 West Boston Post Road, 2"d Floor, Conference Room A.
