April 25,2000
A regular meeting of the Coastal Zone Management Commission ("CZMC") was
held on April 25, 2000, in Conference Room A, Town Center, 740 West Boston Post Road,
Mamaroneck, NY. The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m.

1. Approval of Minutes
The minutes of the March 28th meeting were read and approved.
2. Work Session on Wetlands Law
Madelaine Berg announced that there will be a joint work session of the Town of
Mamaroneck Board and the Village of Larchmont Trustees on May 17, at 5p.m. to
discuss the draft Wetlands and Watercourses Protection Laws which have been developed
by the Commission.

3. Listen to the Sound 2000
The National Audubon Society,together with the Regional Plan Association and Save
the Sound will hold a series of citizens'hearings around Long Island Sound in May and
June. The Westchester County hearing will be held at the Mamaroneck Town Center on
Tuesday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. Madelaine Berg asked if the Commission thought it
appropriate to become a co-sponsor of the hearing in Mamaroneck. The Commission
voted to act as a co-sponsor and agreed to discuss possible issues which could be the
subject of testimony at the hearing at its next meeting. It was suggested that Wally Irwin
and/or Rob Dosher might be asked to testify.
4. 2 Pryer Lane
Larchmont,NY
The proposed demolition of the current premises and construction of a new house at this
site are on the agenda of the May 15 meeting of the Larchmont Planning Committee. It
was the recollection of the Commission that the applicant had been requested to provide
the Commission with additional information regarding drainage and runoff at the site
when the project was before the Commission at a previous meeting. A letter should be
sent to the Village Engineer reminding him of this fact.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
The next scheduled CZMC meeting will be held on May 23,2000.
