After a brief discussion, on a motion by Commissioner Devaney, seconded by Commissioner Morello, the Commission unanimously agreed to allow seasonal Hommocks Pool permit holders (resident and non resident) to bring up to four guests per day, paying the prevailing guest fee, during the school year . This policy is for a one year trial basis. NEW MAIL-IN REGISTRATION POLICY: Ms. Fisher briefly updated the Commission on the new mail-in registration policy that will be utilized for the spring-summer program registration. Residents will be able to register for most Recreation Department programs (with the exception of camps and individual tennis lessons) through the mail. Applicants will need to obtain an application (either in the back of the brochure or online) and return it with two proofs of residency and payment in the form of a check or money order. Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes December 9, 2008 - Page 6 Mail-In Registration Policy Continued: Chairman Druker asked why applicants would not be allowed to write in their credit card numbers. Ms. Fisher explained that the Town only allows credit cards to be swiped, not manually entered. The Commission unanimously endorsed the new policy. Chairman Druker then requested that Ms. Fisher draft a letter to Town Administrator Altieri requesting that payment by credit card be allowed through the mail. HOMMOCKS PARK ICE RINK TRUST FUND WITHDRAWAL: In 2010, the Hommocks Park Ice Rink will need to purchase a new Zamboni. The order must be placed in 2009, along with a $20,000 deposit. The remainder of the money due will be provided for in the 2010 Town Budget.
