Experience. The goal of the club is to hold a variety of fundraisers throughout the school
year to raise funds to send a child in need to one of the Town of Mamaroneck day
camps. All monies raised will be given to the Recreation Department to be used at their
discretion and within the established scholarship guidelines.
NEW RINK EXTERIOR SIGNS AND FRONT AWNING:
Specifications of the new rink exterior signs were reviewed. The two signs on the
corner of Boston Post Road and Weaver Street will be illuminated with LED lighting.
The sign adjacent to the Hommocks School parking lot will continue to be reflective and
the current illuminated sign for the rink pathway will be refaced. After final approval is
given, the signs will take 6 — 8 weeks to manufacture and hopefully will be up by
Thanksgiving. After further discussion, the Commission unanimously decided that the
wording "Public Indoor Ice Rink" be omitted from the signage and the new sign posts
would be maroon in color to match the signs.
The Commission also unanimously agreed that the awning over the front doors would
be maroon in color and the lettering would match the exterior signs.
