Ms. Liebesman stated in her email that she is unhappy with some of the rules at the pool which she feels takes all of the fun out of using the pool. Ms. Liebesman stated she will not be renewing her family pool permit due to these pool rules and policies. The pool rules and policies were reviewed and discussed by the Commission. It was deemed that the established Hommocks pool rules and policies are the same as other municipalities in the area and are there for good reasons. Current pool rules will remain in effect. Ms. Fisher informed the Commission of a meeting with Town Administrator, Stephen Altieri and Mr. Gus Lucas, Slapshot Café regarding allowing individuals to bring in a small personal sized cooler. Mr. Lucas agreed to allow these small coolers into the pool area but that the policy would still exclude food deliveries, pizza boxes and bags of food from other establishments. This small policy change would be welcomed by many pool patrons.
