CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Pro Tem Druker.
APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES:
On a motion by Commissioner Rainaldi, seconded by Commissioner Plansky the
meeting minutes of November 8, 2004 were unamiously approved as submitted.
SUPERINTENDENT'S UPDATE:
Ms. Fisher reported the following:
1. Skating School registrations seem to be consistent with last year's.
2. Youth Hockey registration stands at 161, last year there were 164 participants.
Since there are more non-resident registered this year than last year, revenue
should be about the same.
3. Fall programs have, or are about to end. The winter sessions begin after the
holidays.
4. Tennis programs have grown again this year. Youth programs have seen an
increase in enrollment largely due to the Scooby Doo Introduction to Tennis
program. Unfortunately this program has been discontinued by the Cartoon
Network. The Recreation Department is currently investigating ways to continue
this program.
5. The Department trip to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City was enjoyed
by all who attended.
6. The Town Board toured the locker room facilities at the Hommocks Pool on
December 1st
Councilman Odierna informed the Commission that the Board does not feel that
it will be necessary to demolish the locker rooms. They feel that a through
cleaning and limited improvements (new bathroom fixtures, doors on changing
rooms, etc.) should be made. The Town is committed to upgrading the locker
rooms and also will contribute $500,000 toward the renovation of the pool.
Ms. Fisher has asked the Town Administrator if the Commission will be expected
to recoup these expenditures through user fees. He has informed her that, at
this time it is not necessary.

which have 7 non-residents listed as participants. An invoice has been

consolidated, so that Wednesdays from 6:15 to 8:50 P.M. and Saturdays from
7:40 to 8:50 A.M. could be available for rentals.
The Mamaroneck Youth Hockey Association has reserved the Wednesday
evening slot. As of this date the Saturday morning one is still available.
9. Westchester Country has submitted a bid for the 2007 Empire State Games. If
