held August 30th, 1927
In the absence of the Supervisor, the .meeting was
called- to order by Chairman Boyd at 8:30 P. M.
Present: Justices Beyd, Collins, Howell and Leeds
Town Clerk Sherman
The Clerk stated that the meeting had been called
in accordance with a resolution of the Town Board heretofore
adopted to receive bids on the Sections 1, 2 and 3 in connect-
ion with the construction for sto_m wa.thr drains.
The Clerk read the notice and stated that the same
had been duly published.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLD, that the call and notice
of the meeting and the report of the
Clerk be and the same hereby are in
all respects approved.
The Chairman asked if there were any bidders present
who desired to be heard in connection with their bids.
There being none, the Chairman stated that unless
there was any opposition, the Clerk would proceed to open the
bids received.
There being no opposition, the Clerk proceeded to open
the bids received, all of which were on the fora of proposal and
complied with the conditions as specified in the proposal, which
were as follower: LL

Bile the bids were being opened, Super7isor Burton ✓
entered the room and took his place as Chairman of the meeting.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the Board go into
executive session to consider and
tabulate the bids received.
The Board then reconvened.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that all bids received, be
referred to the Engineer for tabulation
and when so tabulated submit his report
to the Board.
The Clerk started that the meeting g 'tied been called La
accordance with the resolution of the Town Board heretofore ad-
- opted to receive bids in connection with the construction of cells
at the Teaver Street Police Station.
The Clerks read the notice and stated that the same
had been duly publisAed.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the call and notice of
the meeting and the report of the
Clerk be and the same hereby are in
all respects approved.
The Chairman asked if there were any bidders present
who desired to be heard in connection with their bids.
There being none, the Chairman stated that unless
there was any opposition, the Clerk Would proceed to open the
bids received.
There being no .opposition, the Cser_, proceeded to open
the bids received, all of which were on the form of proposal .

proposal, which were as followsm

After discussion, it was, upon motion duly seconded,
RESOLED, that the bid of the Pa371y
Jail Co. , be and the same hereby is
referred to Justice Howell and Justice
Leeds to take up with the State Prison
Commiesion, and to ascertain the re-
quirements necessary relating to the
installation of cells at time Weaver
Street Police Statical
and when so ascertained, report bank
to the lo.:n. Board, and it was further
RESOLVED, that all necessary expenses
incurred by the aforementioned com-
mittee, in meeting with the Mate
Prison Commission, be and are hereby
made a 'proper charge.
The Clerk presented an application made by the roman' s
Club of .€:arctmont, requesting permission to use the 2,uditoriu=
and grounds of the :heaver Street Fire House in connection with a
circus and fair to be held by them.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the application of the
`:roman's-Club for the use of the ':` eaves
Street Pure House auditoriam and grounds
or September 27th and =8th, be and the
same hereby is approved and that the
matter of arrange ments'referred to the
committee on Fire House for their
attention.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at Ile 30 P. H-
