An email was received from Mrs. Aine Santry regarding the current pool permit requirements for participation on the summer Swim Team. Mrs. Santry is questioning why the summer Swim Team participants are required to purchase a full year permit when camp participants are not required to have a pool permit. After discussions on this matter and the reasoning behind the permit requirements, on a motion by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Orans, the commission unanimously agreed to keep the current permit policy in place that requires Swim Team members to have a valid pool permit. Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes November 12, 2019 - Page 3 SUPERINTENDENT'S UPDATE CONTINUED: CHANGE TO THE CURRENT POOL GUEST POLICY AND GUEST FEES: The current guest policy for the Hommocks Pool is to allow one guest per card holder during the summer season and up to four guests during the school year. Having two different guest policies throughout the year has created issues that resulted in upset pool patrons and permit holders. We would like to amend this policy to allow up to two guests per card holder on a year- round basis. After further discussion, on a motion by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Plansky, the commission unanimously approved this request on a one- year trial basis. All in favor. The current guest fees for the Hommocks Pool are: Adult: $6/weekday and $12/weekend; Youth: $3/weekday and $6/weekend. Having different guest fees for the weekends and the weekdays has created confusion for the patrons. We would like to amend this guest fee policy so that we are charging one fee for adults and one fee for youth as follows: Adult: $10; Youth: $5. After reviewing past guest fee revenue, this change would provide for a slight increase in guest fees collected. After a brief discussion, the Commission unanimously agreed to adopt the new fee structure. Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes November 12, 2019 - Page 3 CHANGE TO THE CURRENT TENNIS GUEST FEES: The current guest fees for Memorial Park are: Adult: $5/weekday and $7/weekend; Youth: $4/weekday and $5/weekend. Having different guest fees on the weekends versus the weekdays has been confusing to some permit holders. We would like to amend this guest policy so that we are charging one fee for adults and one fee for youth as follows: Adult: $7; Youth: $5. Since we will be using an average of the previous fees, there will no financial impact. All in favor. 2020 SPRING/SUMMER PERMIT AND PROGRAM FEES: On a motion by Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Rainaldi, the following fees were approved: PROGRAM ADOPTED 2020 Camps Camp Rockingstone resident $825 Rye Neck resident $910 non resident $960 Monroe Pre School resident $1,030 Rye Neck $1,115 non resident $1,165 Hommocks Playground 1st resident $850 Rye Neck resident $995 non resident $1,045 2nd resident $830 Rye Neck resident $975 non resident $1,025 3rd resident $810 Rye Neck resident $955 non resident $1,005 Late Registration $100 Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes November 12, 2019 - Page 4 2020 SPRING/SUMMER PERMIT AND PROGRAM FEES CONTINUED: Extended Day Camp resident child $125/week Rye Neck $135/week non resident $145/week Breakfast Club resident $65/week Rye Neck $75/week non resident $85/week Hommocks 1st resident $1,865 Camp Experience Rye Neck resident $2,130 non resident $2,295 2nd resident $1,845 Rye Neck resident $2,110 non resident $2,275 3rd resident $1,825 Rye Neck resident $2,090 non resident $2,255 Teen Travel Camp Resident/per session $1,450 Rye Neck resident/per session $1,595 non resident/per session $1,645 Youth Programs Aviators & Magic resident $175/week non resident $190/week resident $55/1-day non resident $75/1-day Brick Kids resident $170/week non resident $190/week Gaga Ball resident $180 non resident $200 Babysitter Training resident $95 non resident $120 Chess Camp resident $160/4 days non resident $180/4 days resident $200/5 days non resident $220/5 days Mad Science resident $190/4 days non resident $210/4 days resident $235/5 days non resident $255/5 days Kids Bingo/Pizza Night resident $15/person non resident $20/person Computer Adventures resident $210/4 days non resident $230/4 days RoboThink resident $325 non resident $345 Sew Happy Sewing resident $225 Non resident $245 Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes November 12, 2019 - Page 5 2020 SPRING/SUMMER PERMIT AND PROGRAM FEES CONTINUED: Youth Programs Continued: Dance Tot/Youth resident $13/class non resident $15/class Music Tot/Youth resident $13/class non resident $15/class Pre Ballet resident $13/class non resident $15/class Youth Art Classes resident $19/class non resident $21/class Kidsports resident $17/class non resident $20/class Junior Kayaking resident $140 non resident $160 Youth Kayaking resident $115 non resident $135 All US Sports Institute resident $175/8 weeks Weekly Sports Programs non resident $195/8 weeks resident $155/7 weeks non Resident $175/7 weeks resident $140/6 weeks non resident $160/6 weeks resident $125/5 weeks non resident $145/5 weeks Golf Squirts resident $60/45 mins. non resident $80/45 mins.
