RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS the Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission resolves the Town Board

Room and Shower improvements that we deem are necessary and in the interest of the
community.
The Commission unanimously encourages the Town Board to approve this request.
REQUEST FROM MS. BARI SUMAN:
MHS Athletic Director, Ms. Bari Suman submitted a letter of request for use of the
Hommocks Fields for the Modified Boys Lacrosse Team. After further discussion, the
Commission has denied this request based on the feeling that this would cause too
much wear and tear on the fields. All in favor.
REQUEST FROM MR. HUGUES O'CSAY:
French-American School Physical Education Coordinator, Mr. Hugues O'csay submitted
a letter of request to extend their swim season by fourteen sessions starting on April
29th through early June. Superintendent Fisher has informed the Commission that
there have been no issues with their current arrangement and endorses this extension.
After further discussion, Commission Paonessa, seconded by Commissioner Rainaldi,
made a motion to approve the requested additional sessions. All in favor.
REQUEST FROM A RESIDENT TO JAINE ELKIND ENEY:
Town Board Liaison, Jaine Elkind Eney shared a request from a resident stating that the
Recreation Department should consider giving a 10% - 20% discount to Early Morning
Swim participants that sign up for the 5K Run. This resident feels that a lot of
participants use the Early Morning Swim program to train for Triathlons and this may be
a way to attract more Early Morning Swim participants. After a brief discussion this
request was denied.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, on a motion by
Chairman Druker, seconded by Commissioner Plansky, the meeting adjourned
at 8:00 P.M.
