MR. BRENDAN COLLINS, MAMARONECK YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
PRESIDENT:
Mr. Brendan Collins, MYHA President presented the Recreation Commission Board
with an overview of MYHA.
MYHA has 188 players amongst 13 teams with 40 coaches, 16 managers and 12
players on scholarship. MYHA is made up of 85% residents and use 600 hours of ice
time at the Hommocks Park Ice Rink and 60 hours of ice time at other facilities.
Mr. Collins has also suggested some additional rink improvements such as providing
permanent benches in the high school varsity locker rooms and to make the existing
benches wider. The new electronic sign in the lobby of the ice rink is a great addition but
he would also like some additional signage in the rear of the ice rink.
Mr. Collins is very pleased with the strong bond between MYHA and the Recreation
House League program and is very excited to see the program grow.
