REQUEST FROM DAN DEMASI: Mr. Dan DeMasi, organizer of the Adult Ice Breaker Hockey Tournament has requested donated ice time for their fundraising tournament on April 27th — 30th. All proceeds will go to the Hommocks Park Ice Rink Locker-Room Trust Fund Account. On a motion by Commissioner Paonessa, seconded by Commissioner Plansky, the request was unanimously approved. All in favor. TEEN TRAVEL CAMP: Ms. Fisher presented to the Commission a new structure for the Teen Travel Camp based upon results from a survey conducted. The new Teen Travel Camp would be broken into two (3) week sessions and participants would travel five days per week. Since the Teen campers would be traveling each day, it would then allow us to take additional kids into the Hommocks Playground Camp .Participants would be able to register for either session or both sessions. The Commission expressed concern that the fee may not be affordable to all families. Chairman Druker, suggested a fee structure of$1,350/session and $2,600 for both sessions. It was also suggested that we offer scholarships for qualifying families. After further discussion, the Commission unanimously agreed to try this new format for 2017. All in favor. Ms. Fisher stated that the staff would concentrate on finalizing the trip schedule and all costs for next month's meeting.
